Who?

My name is Lucy Farrett. I’m an actor, writer and comedian.

As an actor my work includes Julia Davis’ comedy SALLY4EVER, GENIUS - Einstein biopic for National Geographic/Fox and Olivier Award nominated ALICE'S ADVENTURES UNDERGROUND for Les Enfants Terribles. I was an original ensemble member of award-winning theatre company Belt Up Theatre. I have had podcast/radio roles for THE BEEF & DAIRY NETWORK PODCAST, HECTOR VS. THE FUTURE and SAM'S SECRET ORCHESTRA - for BBC Radio 3. I have also plastered my mug across mainland Europe as the face of TUC Biscuits in a commercial. Keep your eyes peeled in all European airports and hotel rooms. Yes, I had to eat a lot of crackers. No, I wasn’t issued a lifelong supply. Yes I’m livid.

My debut character comedy show LadyFace garnered 4* reviews across 2017 and 2018, playing at Edinburgh Fringe’s Assembly Hall, Soho Theatre, VAULT Festival and the Brighton Fringe. My second comedy show Lois received 4* and 5* reviews across 2019 at Edinburgh Fringe’s Underbelly Cowgate, Brighton Fringe and VAULT Festival.

I have trained to Level 5 with Monkey Toast Improv and am an alumnus of the Soho Theatre Young Company. I have also run a variety night called THE NIGHT with Crowley & Co, in which I wrote & played characters such as an abrasive, Dutch stage manager called Tina and occasionally Henry VIII with a paper beard. I am an alumnus of the Soho Theatre Young Company Comedy Lab and was selected to compete for the BBC New Comedy Award 2016 with material from LadyFace.
